ibidi µ-Dish 35 mm, high
The 35 mm dish the rest of the ibidi range is built on. A #1.5 polymer coverslip bottom, 180 µm, in place of a thick moulded base, 3.5 cm² of growth area, 2 ml of medium and a lid shaped to hold evaporation down. Phase contrast and DIC behave on it, which is not true of an ordinary plastic dish.

ibidi µ-Dish 35 mm Quad
One 35 mm dish divided into four moulded compartments, 0.85 cm² and 300 µl each, on the same #1.5 polymer coverslip bottom as the rest of the range. Four conditions in the incubator footprint of one dish, and the Ph+ compartment geometry keeps phase contrast usable right out to the wall.

ibidi µ-Slide 18 Well
Eighteen wells on a standard 25.5 x 75.5 mm slide footprint, 100 µl and 0.34 cm² each, on a #1.5 polymer coverslip bottom. Eighteen conditions or six in triplicate, stained in the wells and imaged in one pass with no coverslipping and no cells lost in transfer.

ibidi µ-Slide 8 Well high Glass Bottom
Eight wells on a standard slide footprint, 1.0 cm² and 300 µl each, on a No. 1.5H glass coverslip bottom of 170 µm ± 5 µm. The wells are 9.3 mm deep, so a multi step staining protocol runs without medium crossing between them. Buy this version when the method is TIRF, STORM or single molecule detection.

ibidi µ-Slide 15 Well 3D Glass Bottom
Fifteen wells for 3D culture and tube formation on a No. 1.5H glass bottom. Each well has an inner well 4 mm across and 0.8 mm deep that takes 10 µl of gel, with 50 µl of medium above it. The gel sets flat instead of forming a meniscus, so the cells sit in one focal plane. Sold until recently as the µ-Slide Angiogenesis Glass Bottom.

ibidi µ-Plate 24 Well Glass Bottom
A 24 well plate with black walls and a flat No. 1.5H glass coverslip bottom, 170 µm ± 5 µm. Wells are 14.0 mm across, 1.54 cm² and 1 ml each. ANSI/SLAS footprint, and the inner well and whole plate flatness is what lets an automated microscope hold focus across all 24 wells instead of refocusing in every one.

ibidi µ-Plate 96 Well Round Glass Bottom
A 96 well plate with black walls, round wells 6.2 mm across, and a flat No. 1.5H glass coverslip bottom of 170 µm ± 5 µm. 0.30 cm² and 200 µl per well, 9.0 mm pitch, ANSI/SLAS footprint. Round wells keep existing protocols, tip racks and liquid handlers working unchanged.

ibidi µ-Plate 96 Well Square Glass Bottom
A 96 well plate with black walls, square wells of 7.5 x 7.5 mm, and a flat No. 1.5H glass coverslip bottom of 170 µm ± 5 µm. 0.56 cm² and 300 µl per well, close to twice the growth area of the round well version, on the same ANSI/SLAS footprint and 9.0 mm pitch. More imageable area per well, and more coating reagent to fill it.

ibidi µ-Slide VI 0.5 Glass Bottom
Six channels on a standard slide footprint with a No. 1.5H glass coverslip bottom, 170 µm ± 5 µm. 0.6 cm² of growth area and 40 µl per channel. Note the channel height: 0.53 mm here against 0.4 mm on the polymer version, so a flow protocol carried over from the µ-Slide VI 0.4 needs its shear stress recalculated.
