A removable silicone chamber with eight wells bonded to a standard microscope glass slide. Cultivate, fix, stain and image without ever transferring cells, then peel the chamber away to leave an ordinary glass slide that can be coverslipped, imaged on an upright microscope and archived in a slide box like any conventional histology preparation.

Two silicone wells in a 35 mm imaging dish. Seed both, let the cells attach, lift the insert out and a cell free gap of 500 µm is left behind, with no debris along the edges and the coating under the gap untouched. A wound healing assay with the same starting geometry in every dish.

Three silicone wells in a row inside a 35 mm imaging dish. Seed all three, let the cells attach, remove the insert and two cell free gaps of 500 µm are left side by side. Seed the outer wells differently and one middle population meets two migration fronts in the same dish, in the same medium, in the same imaging run.

ibidi Culture-Insert 4 Well
A round silicone insert with four wells, pre-inserted in a 35 mm imaging dish. Four separately seeded populations, and when the insert comes out, a cross of cell free gaps, 500 µm between neighbours and 1000 µm across the centre. Four conditions or four cell types, one dish, one imaging run.

ibidi micro-Insert 4 Well FulTrac
Four conical wells 0.4 mm across, 10 µl each, in a 35 mm imaging dish. One 20x field covers a whole well, so a single cell cannot leave the frame during a long imaging run. The FulTrac silicone bottom seals against a smooth dry surface, which is what stops 10 µl wicking away or evaporating.
