ibidi µ-Dish 35 mm Quad
One 35 mm dish divided into four moulded compartments, 0.85 cm² and 300 µl each, on the same #1.5 polymer coverslip bottom as the rest of the range. Four conditions in the incubator footprint of one dish, and the Ph+ compartment geometry keeps phase contrast usable right out to the wall.

What is the µ-Dish 35 mm Quad?
A 35 mm dish split into four moulded compartments, each with 0.85 cm² of growth area and 300 µl of medium, on the same #1.5 ibidi Polymer Coverslip bottom as the rest of the range. Four experiments in the space and the incubator footprint of one dish.
The compartments are moulded, not a removable insert, so there is no gap assay here and nothing to lift out. This is for running four conditions side by side and imaging them in one session.
The Ph+ walls
Ph+ is ibidi's feature for suppressing the meniscus, and the meniscus is what wrecks phase contrast in an ordinary open well. On a compartment holding 300 µl the meniscus is a large fraction of the surface, so this matters more here than it would in a 6 well plate. Anyone who has tried to score cells at the edge of a small well knows what the alternative looks like.
Where I would not spend the money
Four compartments in one dish is convenient, and it is not four dishes. They share a lid and a base, so a contamination in one compartment is a problem for all four, and you cannot pull one out mid experiment without opening the others. For four genuinely independent conditions, four separate µ-Dishes are safer, and the price difference is small. Buy the Quad when the four conditions belong together and you want them under one objective in one run.

Are the compartments removable?
No. They are moulded into the dish. If you want a removable divider that leaves a defined cell free gap, that is the Culture-Insert range, not this.
What is Ph+?
ibidi's name for the compartment geometry that keeps phase contrast usable across the whole compartment and cell growth even within it. On a compartment holding 300 µl, the edge is where phase contrast normally falls apart.
Quad, or four separate dishes?
The four compartments share a lid and a base. A contamination in one is a problem for all four, and you cannot remove one mid experiment without opening the others. For four genuinely independent conditions, four separate µ-Dishes are the safer buy and the price difference is small. The Quad earns its place when the four conditions belong together and you want them under one objective in one run.
80416 or 80411?
80416 is ibiTreat, tissue culture treated. 80411 is uncoated. Same dish otherwise.
Is it available in Israel with local support?
Yes. NBT is the ibidi distributor in Israel. We hold labware locally, and we will tell you when a cheaper item in the range does the same job.
