Sensapex uMc Automated Pressure Control
The Sensapex uMc is a range of compact, closed-loop automated pressure controllers that replaces inconsistent mouth pipetting and manual syringes with programmable, reproducible pressure delivery. Available in 2-, 4-, and 8-channel configurations and fully integrated with the Sensapex touchscreen and SDK, the uMc series covers patch clamp, compound puffing, automated pipette cleaning, and precision microinjection.

Sensapex uMx Software & SDK
The Sensapex uMx platform is the open-source software foundation for automating all Sensapex hardware. Built around a Python SDK and Ethernet control architecture with ultra-low latency, it enables researchers to script unified control of uMp micromanipulators, uMs microscopes, and uMc pressure controllers — from simple movement commands to fully automated patch clamp workflows via ACQ4 integration.

uMc Pressure Control for Automated Pipette Cleaning
The uMc-CLN series of pressure controllers automates patch pipette cleaning using validated Alconox and Tergazyme protocols, enabling reuse of a single pipette for up to 100 sequential cell recordings. Available in 2-, 4-, and 8-channel configurations, the uMc-CLN integrates fully into the Sensapex ecosystem to accelerate multi-patch workflows and high-throughput electrophysiology experiments.

Sensapex uMp-4 micromanipulator
The uMp-4 is our 4 REAL axis micromanipulator. uMp micromanipulators are based on unique ZERO DRIFT piezo-technology, where position is maintained by a strong friction force and motors are driven only during the positioning. Based on the laws of physics, the linear position stays exactly the same with zero drift during static external loading conditions and constant temperature.
