RWD Rat Adaptors are head fixation accessories designed for use with RWD stereotaxic instruments to securely hold rats of varying weights during neurosurgical procedures. Combining incisor, nose clip, and ear bar fixation, these adaptors provide multi-point head restraint with fine vertical and horizontal adjustability (100 μm resolution) to accommodate different rat sizes and achieve precise skull leveling. The gas anesthesia variant integrates an isoflurane mask directly into the adaptor for seamless anesthesia maintenance throughout surgery.

• 68053 Rat Anesthesia Adaptor: Integrates gas anesthesia mask with full multi-axis head fixation. Vertical range: 30 mm (−20/+10 mm, 100 μm accuracy). Vertical rotation: 70° (±35°, 5° steps). Horizontal rotation: 70° (±35°, 5° steps). Horizontal adjustment: 43.5 mm. Allows anesthetic gas delivery without blocking surgical access.
