What is the PowerMAG QPS?

The PowerMAG QPS is MAG & More’s most advanced TMS research stimulator, purpose-built for Quadripulse Stimulation (QPS) and high-frequency burst protocols. Capable of delivering bursts at up to 666 Hz within a 100 Hz train envelope, it enables the precise, high-speed pulse sequences demanded by QPS — one of the most powerful paradigms for inducing long-lasting bidirectional cortical plasticity.

QPS (Quadripulse Stimulation) uses four monophasic magnetic pulses delivered in rapid succession to produce highly consistent and controllable LTP- or LTD-like plasticity effects. The PowerMAG QPS is the only system in the PowerMAG range designed specifically for this protocol, making it the instrument of choice for plasticity research, connectivity studies, and therapeutic investigations requiring precise, reproducible plasticity induction.
