Metagloves Pro
Millimeter-accurate finger capture using five EMF fingertip sensors with 6 DOF tracking, producing a full 25 DOF model of the hand at 120 Hz with no occlusion and no drift. A swappable top module lets one set of electronics serve multiple actors, and persistent calibration profiles remove the need to recalibrate between takes. NBT Ltd is an authorized MANUS reseller and the exclusive MANUS distributor in Israel.

The Metagloves Pro capture finger motion using five EMF fingertip sensors per hand, each returning 3 axis positional and 3 axis rotational data at 120 Hz. Because tracking is electromagnetic rather than optical, there is no occlusion and no drift, and the result is a full 25 DOF model of the hand suitable for robotics training, embodied AI research and motion science.
- Millimeter-level fingertip accuracy with no occlusion or drift
- Swappable top module for multi-actor scalability
- Persistent calibration profiles, no recalibration between takes
- Swappable batteries for continuous workflow
- Integration into existing pipelines via MANUS Core, plug-ins or SDK
EMF tracking technology
Five electromagnetic field sensors sit in the fingertips of the glove textile, tracking absolute end-point position rather than inferring joint angles from bending. That gives repeatable measurements take after take, which matters when finger data is being used as training input or as a measurement rather than as animation reference. Motion-to-data latency is 30 ms wired and 50 ms wireless.
Accuracy
Repeatability is the point. The same gesture produces the same data, so recordings can be compared across sessions and across operators. Finger data can be recorded or livestreamed to any target application through MANUS Core and its plug-ins, or exported as .FBX or .CSV.
Usability
The gloves go on without per-sensor placement work. Calibration completes in seconds and user profiles are stored locally, persisting across battery swaps and wear sessions, so switching actors does not mean recalibrating. Changing operators is a matter of moving the top module to the next person's sized glove.
Scalability
All electronics and connectivity live in the detachable Top Module, attached with one integrated latch. Adding an operator means adding a sensor glove in their size (XS, S, M or L) rather than a second full system, which keeps multi-user deployments affordable. Components can be upgraded or replaced individually.

What are the MANUS Metagloves Pro and what do they capture?
The Metagloves Pro are professional hand motion capture gloves using five EMF fingertip sensors with 6 DOF tracking. They record 3-axis positional and 3-axis rotational data per fingertip at 120 Hz, producing a full 25 DOF model of the hand with no occlusion and no drift.
What is the tracking latency and sample rate?
Motion-to-data latency is 30 ms wired and 50 ms wireless, at a 120 Hz sensor sampling rate. Wireless operation uses the MANUS Wireless Dongle over Bluetooth 5.0 at up to 15 metres (49 feet) depending on environment.
How does the swappable top module work across multiple users?
All electronics and connectivity sit in the detachable Top Module, attached with a single integrated latch. Each operator needs only their own sized sensor glove, and user calibration profiles are stored locally and persist across battery changes and wear sessions, so there is no recalibration between takes.
What sizes are available and can the gloves be washed?
Sensor gloves come in XS, S, M and L. The textile is 72% polyester and 28% spandex, and is washable once the electronics are removed. A glove with electronics and battery for a medium hand weighs 167 grams (5.88 ounces).
Which software and motion capture pipelines are supported?
MANUS Core streams to Unreal Engine, Unity and Autodesk MotionBuilder through plug-ins, with integrations for Xsens, OptiTrack, Qualisys, Vicon, Nokov, FZMotion, Motion Analysis, SteamVR, IC.IDO and ROS, plus .CSV and .FBX export. An SDK licence is available for custom integrations. NBT Ltd provides integration support and configuration help in Israel.
