96-well plate with black walls and #1.5 Polymer Coverslip bottom for high-throughput fluorescence screening. Optimal for live-cell imaging and quantitative microscopy with low background and superior optical quality.
Is it compatible with high-resolution microscopy?
Yes. The #1.5 ibidi Polymer Coverslip bottom has low autofluorescence and low birefringence, and it handles widefield fluorescence, confocal, phase contrast and DIC. For TIRF, single molecule detection and super-resolution, buy the Glass Bottom version instead.
Is the µ-Plate 96 Well Black sterile and ready to use?
Yes. All ibidi labware ships sterilized and individually wrapped, ready for direct cell seeding without additional preparation.
