Bodypack Lite
Unlimited range live streaming and recording over Wi-Fi with the MANUS Bodypack Lite.
Light and compact, so it can be worn with any motion capture suit. Gloves connect wirelessly to the built-in dongle, giving the performer full freedom of movement with no cable running from hand to body.
Stream capture data into any of the available integrations, including Xsens MVN, OptiTrack Motive, Qualisys QTM, Nokov XingYing and Motion Analysis Cortex, or straight into Unreal Engine or Unity through the MANUS plug-ins.
Record capture data over Wi-Fi in MANUS Core and combine it with any body capture solution, such as Vicon Shogun.

What is the MANUS Bodypack Lite?
The Bodypack Lite is a 95-gram wearable streaming hub that gives MANUS glove capture unlimited range over Wi-Fi. It is not a body motion capture system itself: it carries glove data from the performer to your workstation, or records it into MANUS Core, so it can be combined with any body capture solution.
How does it connect to MANUS gloves?
An integrated dongle connects Metagloves Series gloves wirelessly with no additional hardware. Prime 3 Series gloves also connect wirelessly but require the Prime 3 Wireless Dongle. Both series can alternatively be wired. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports are provided for MANUS gloves and the MANUS Wireless Dongle.
What networking, triggering and sync does it support?
Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, with 1 Gbps Ethernet. Recording can be triggered from Vicon, OptiTrack, Qualisys, Xsens, PeelCapture and Rokoko, and timecode and sync are supported through an external device.
How long does it run and how is it powered?
Power is USB Type-C at 5V/2.4A with roughly 2.5 W consumption, giving about 7 hours of operation on a 19 Wh power bank.
How does it attach to a motion capture suit?
The casing is Velcro-backed with strap attachment points, so it mounts to any motion capture suit. At 95 grams (~3.5 ounces) and 99 x 62 x 20 mm it is 60% reduced in volume compared with the previous bodypack, which lowers wearer fatigue during long sessions. NBT Ltd can advise on suit integration and configuration.
