Artinis Mobile NIRS App
Free iOS and Android app for mobile fNIRS recordings with the PortaLite MKII — records O₂Hb, HHb, and TSI with export to OxySoft or .csv.

NIRS in Your Pocket
The Artinis mobile app brings fNIRS data acquisition to smartphones and tablets, available free of charge on Android and iOS. Using a Bluetooth connection, it enables convenient mobile recordings of NIRS data in any setting — in the lab, in the field, or in clinical environments.
The app records relative concentration changes in oxygenated haemoglobin (O₂Hb) and deoxygenated haemoglobin (HHb), as well as the absolute Tissue Saturation Index (TSI). Events can be inserted during a measurement to mark key experimental time points. After recording, data can be viewed directly in the app and exported to OxySoft version 4.2 and higher, or as a .csv file for flexible downstream processing.
Compatible with PortaLite MKII
The Artinis app is compatible with the PortaLite MKII, enabling measurements of both brain and muscle tissue oxygenation. Up to 4 sensors can be recorded simultaneously, allowing measurements from multiple regions or multiple subjects in parallel.
