Powerful NIRS Recording and Analysis Software

OxySoft is Artinis's proprietary NIRS recording and analysis platform, compatible with all Artinis devices including the Brite family, PortaLite MKII, OxyMon, PortaMon, OctaMon, and PortaSync. It allows simultaneous recordings from multiple devices in any combination, synchronising all data into a single file for real-time or post-hoc analysis.

OxySoft 4 introduces a range of new features to streamline fNIRS data acquisition and analysis:

Direct .snirf export — Export data in the standardised shared near-infrared file format for cross-platform compatibility with tools such as HOMER, NIRS-SPM, FieldTrip, and NIRStorm.

Bluetooth recovery tool — Retrieves data integrity in the event of a lost Bluetooth connection during a recording session.

Device event mapping — Direct creation of events using hardware triggers, enabling precise synchronisation with external stimuli and other systems.

Signal quality index (SQI) — Intuitive signal quality assessment with an improved user interface to ensure reliable data quality before and during recording.

OxySoft also supports real-time streaming of data to MATLAB or Python via Lab Streaming Layer (LSL), and exports raw data in multiple formats. Standard analysis techniques including the modified Lambert-Beer Law (mLBL) can be applied in real-time or post-hoc.
