ibidi µ-Slide VI 0.4

What is the µ-Slide VI 0.4?

The µ-Slide VI 0.4 is a six-channel µ-Slide for parallel flow assays, immunofluorescence, and live cell imaging. Its all-in-one design combines six independent imaging chambers — each with two female Luer ports — on a single slide-sized footprint, enabling cost-effective experiments with small numbers of cells and low volumes of reagents.

With a #1.5 ibidi Polymer Coverslip or #1.5H Glass Coverslip bottom, the slide delivers excellent optics across brightfield, widefield fluorescence, confocal, super-resolution, and TIRF microscopy. Channel geometry ensures homogeneous cell distribution and a defined optical pathway — making the µ-Slide VI 0.4 a workhorse for shear-stress experiments on endothelial cells, transfection workflows, and parallel immunofluorescence stainings.

Key Features

  • 6 parallel channels: Six independent flow chambers per slide, each with two female Luer ports for tube and pump connections.
  • Excellent optics: #1.5 ibidi Polymer Coverslip or #1.5H Glass Coverslip bottom, compatible with high-NA objectives and immersion oil.
  • Defined shear stress: Channel geometry with calculable shear stress and shear rates (use the ibidi Flow Calculator).
  • Pump-system ready: Fully compatible with the ibidi Pump System for long-term perfusion experiments.
  • Low volumes, parallel conditions: Run six conditions on one slide with minimal cells and reagents.
  • Sterile and biocompatible: Made from non-cytotoxic, biocompatible materials. Ready for cell culture out of the box.
