Artinis Brite Connect

Easy fNIRS Data Recording for the Brite Family

Brite Connect is specifically designed to facilitate day-to-day fNIRS data recording. It enables intuitive data collection in real-time via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or offline without a wireless connection. Events can be placed with a single click using a keyboard, PortaSync, or the device event button, and Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) support allows events to be streamed directly from stimulus presentation software such as E-Prime or Psychopy.

After recording, data can be reviewed in a clear channel overview, with the option to adjust event keys in review mode. Data can be exported to the standardised .snirf format for further analysis in toolboxes such as HOMER or MNE Python.

Compatible with All Brite Family Devices

Brite Connect works with all Brite family devices, including the Brite, Brite Frontal, Brite Lite (Frontal), BabyBrite, MultiBrite (Dual and Tetra), and MediBrite. Up to four devices can be connected simultaneously, enabling near-full head coverage or hyperscanning setups. The software runs on any computer with a valid license key.

Signal Quality and Data Integrity

Brite Connect provides a clear signal quality interface with per-channel feedback and improvement hints. A dedicated signal quality check helps achieve optimal signal before recording begins. If data loss occurs due to connectivity issues, a built-in repair function can retrieve missing data to ensure recording accuracy.
