ibidi µ-Slide ibiPore SiN
Two channels separated by a porous silicon nitride membrane, for transmigration, barrier function and permeability work under static conditions or under flow. Four membranes to choose from: 0.5 µm pores at 20 percent porosity (85216), 3.0 µm at 5 percent (85226), 5.0 µm at 5 percent (85236) and 8.0 µm at 5 percent (85246). Pore size decides what can cross, so tell us the cell type and we quote the right one.

What is the µ-Slide ibiPore SiN?
The µ-Slide ibiPore SiN features a porous silicon nitride membrane separating two parallel flow channels, ideal for transmigration and transmembrane transport studies under both static and dynamic flow conditions. The nanoporous membrane enables cell migration across physiologically relevant barriers while maintaining full microscopic visibility of the process.
Perfect for barrier function assays, immune cell transmigration studies, and drug permeability assessment across cellular and tissue barriers.
Key Features

What is the ibidi µ-Slide ibiPore SiN used for?
A dual-channel slide with porous silicon nitride membrane for transmigration and barrier function assays.
Is it compatible with high-resolution microscopy?
Yes. The #1.5 ibidi Polymer Coverslip bottom has low autofluorescence and low birefringence, and it handles widefield fluorescence, confocal, phase contrast and DIC. For TIRF, single molecule detection and super-resolution, buy the Glass Bottom version instead.
What makes the ibidi µ-Slide ibiPore SiN unique?
Independent control of two parallel channels separated by a thin SiN membrane enables transport and migration studies.
Is it sterile and ready to use?
Yes. It ships sterilized and individually wrapped, ready to use.
Is local support available in Israel?
Yes. NBT is the ibidi distributor in Israel. We install, train and support locally.
