What is the Double Coil PMD70-pCool?
The Double Coil PMD70-pCool is MAG & More’s actively cooled figure-8 stimulation coil, combining the focal stimulation geometry of the standard PMD70 with the patented pCool active cooling technology. This enables the coil to maintain consistent pulse intensity throughout long protocols, high-frequency rTMS, and Theta Burst Stimulation (TBS) up to 100 Hz — without the reduction in pulse strength that occurs in passive coils as they heat up.
The pCool design eliminates the need for cooling breaks, significantly increasing the throughput of clinical and research TMS sessions, and is available in multiple configurations including standard and SHAM variants.
