With a reduced winding diameter of 2×45 mm, the PMD45-EEG delivers highly focal stimulation while minimizing the electromagnetic artifacts that contaminate EEG recordings — making it the optimal choice for combined TMS-EEG paradigms where signal quality is paramount.

The smaller footprint and optimized coil geometry reduce the direct electrode-coil coupling that produces large artifacts in TMS-EEG, enabling cleaner recordings of the TMS-evoked potential (TEP) and other EEG responses of interest.
