AMTI AccuGait-O Force Plate

Portable Gait & Balance Measurement

The AccuGait-Optimized (ACG-O) is AMTI's portable solution for quantifying human gait and balance. Its innovative, patented design is accurate, economical, and easy to use on any flat surface — no mounting required. A single 15 ft USB cable handles both data transfer and power, making setup effortless.

OPTIMA Calibration Technology

The ACG-O achieves exceptional accuracy for measuring center of pressure, forces, and moments using AMTI's unique precision grid OPTIMA calibration technology. With Hall Effect sensing elements, built-in amplification, and digital USB 2.0 output sampling up to 1000 Hz, it delivers laboratory-grade results in a portable form factor.

Build a Mobile Gait Lab

Pair any number of ACG-O force plates with AMTI's AccuGait Walkway foam-composite surface to create a complete mobile gait lab. The walkway accommodates any number of ACG-O plates end-to-end, enabling full gait analysis without a permanent lab installation. The ACG-O also features an RCA phono synchronization port supporting both Genlock and external triggering for multi-device setups.

FAQ

Does the ACG-O require mounting or an external amplifier?

No. The ACG-O is a fully self-contained, portable platform designed for use on any flat surface. It has a built-in amplifier, requires no mounting hardware, and connects to your PC with a single USB cable that also provides power — no external amplifier or power supply needed.

What is the sampling rate and output format?

The ACG-O provides digital USB 2.0 output with a user-selectable sampling rate between 10 and 1000 datasets per second. It measures all six channels: Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My, and Mz.

What are the force capacities?

The ACG-O has an Fz capacity of 1334 N (300 lb), Fx/Fy capacity of 445 N (100 lb), and moment capacities of 226 N-m (2000 in-lb) for Mx and My. It is designed for standard adult gait and balance assessments.

Can multiple plates be used together?

Yes. Any number of ACG-O plates can be used together, either independently or paired with the AccuGait Walkway. The walkway foam-composite surface accommodates plates end-to-end to create a mobile gait lab suitable for full-stride gait analysis.

What is the ACG-O's plate size and weight?

The ACG-O measures 502 × 502 × 45 mm (19.75 × 19.75 × 1.79 in) and weighs 11.4 kg (25 lb), making it lightweight and portable for transport between sites or clinical environments.
