Nanoliter 2020 Injector
WPI's updated, touchscreen-controlled nanoliter microinjector. Repeatable positive-displacement injections down to 0.6 nL using glass micropipettes, driven from the SMARTouch™ MICRO2T controller that also runs the UMP3 pump. One injector spans 1.1–1.5 mm OD glass via a simple front-gasket swap — the workhorse for stereotaxic viral delivery, Xenopus oocyte, zebrafish embryo, and Drosophila / insect injection.

StereoAim ST4000
The StereoAim ST4000 is a semi-automated robotic stereotaxic platform from PopNeuron built around a hexapod core, delivering automated 3D skull flat, six-axis positioning, and a cloud-based brain atlas system. It eliminates the manual iteration and operator dependency of conventional stereotaxic devices while creating wide-open above-animal workspace for imaging equipment.

L-VIS (Low Volume In-Vitro Slice Chamber)
The L-VIS (Low Volume In-Vitro Slice Chamber) from PopNeuron is a patented recording chamber that reduces ACSF volume to just 1.5–2 ml per experiment—the lowest of any design on the market. The Hexatron 1000 is PopNeuron's compact tabletop hexapod (Stewart platform) delivering true six-degree-of-freedom positioning across X, Y, Z translation and pitch, roll, and yaw rotation. Its parallel kinematic design eliminates the cumulative errors and reduced stiffness of stacked XYZ stages, making it ideal for laser alignment, micromanipulation, and stereotaxic applications requiring simultaneous angular and spatial control.

Optogenetics App
The Optogenetics App (and Optogenetics Pro) by PopNeuron is a free iOS and Android application that calculates required laser power for in-vivo optogenetic experiments. Using a validated light-scattering model calibrated across seven mouse brain areas, it outputs penetration depth as a function of optical power for any brain region, opsin, and fiber combination—essential for planning effective and safe optogenetic stimulation.

A 20 W LED cold light source that delivers shadow-free illumination through fiber optic guides, keeping heat and electronics away from the specimen.
