Three neuroscience and psychology conferences in Israel this October
Vision at TAU on October 8, then Mind-IL's Brain and Mind and Psychology conferences back to back on October 25 and 26.

Vision, October 8
Organized by Prof. Nitzan Censor and Prof. Uri Polat at Tel Aviv University's School of Psychological Sciences. No dedicated conference website exists as of this writing. If you work in vision science and want details, the best route is to contact one of the organizers' labs directly.
Brain and Mind, October 25
Part of Mind-IL 2026, held at Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Medicine in Tsfat. A research day on brain and mind in mental health, bringing neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, engineering and medicine together around diagnosis, monitoring and treatment, including objective and physiological markers, treatment prediction, real time monitoring and personalized treatment.

Organizers: Hanna Keren, Evan Elliott, Radi Shahien, Haneen Jabaly-Habib, Liron Rozenkrantz and Rotem Kahalon, all at Bar-Ilan University.
Psychology, October 26
Also part of Mind-IL 2026, at the Open University in Raanana. Keynotes from Yael Niv (Princeton), Uri Hasson (Princeton) and Nira Liberman (Tel Aviv University), plus an open conversation between Yuval Noah Harari and Liad Mudrik on natural and artificial minds.
New this year: the first Daniel Kahneman prize, for the best student or postdoc conference submission in psychology, named for the Nobel laureate who died in 2024. Abstract submission for the prize closed August 15.
Registration deadline is October 6, 2026.
